The weekly snitch source now claims the Good Charlotte star is having ‘an emotional affair’ with his ‘Lizzie McGuire’ ex Hilary Duff. ‘Nicole considers any interaction between Joel and Hilary cheating,’ a N.R insider spills to Star. ‘She doesn’t like Hilary and doesn’t want Joel having anything to do with her.’‘When she heard the Joel had been reaching out to Hilary, she completely freaked out. She confronted him and broke down in tears. Even if he wasn’t doing anything but talking, Nicole feels totally betrayed. She told Joel exactly how she feels about Hilary, and he knew he shouldn’t have been trying to contact her,’ the source reveals.
